Maldita Plata, methacrylate jewellery collection

Silver and metals are no longer the main element in a piece of jewellery or accessorymethacrylate comes with power. I am glad to present you Maldita Plata (Damn Silver). No, before you ask me, I have nothing against this precious metal ;). The new collection has this name in honour and recognition to one of my sythpop referents. Do you know them? Do they bring you good memories?

My mind does not stop, I always look for inspiration and new ways of expressing myself, the flat geometric shapes with vivid colors are the hallmark that identifies my style and creative renewal.

To create this collection I moved to the 80s, when Memphis Group marked a before and after in the flow of design and architecture with its colourful decoration and asymmetrical shapes. And, as usual, and not going very fan in time, I always have the good company of the sythpop.

The creative process of the new project has been very visual; I have been identified with the aesthetic referents, with serenity and simplicity. One of my basics.

I imagine these pieces in the neck of any woman who likes fashion, colors and basic lines. Now that the cold winter is approaching, any woman can wear this piece with a black sweater, box-neck, an eighties trench coat, jeans and moccasins. The same as my mother wore in 1985. When I was child I fell in love with her style…

This beautiful collection of jewellery that just comes out of the incubator, you can place an order by email or at the CRIM market, a market of local creators, it’s going to be held in December 8 in Barcelona… and I desire to be able to offer soon a list of pop up stores where you can find the new collection as well.
